Meet Our Pastor

Pastor Gene Graves serves as the Lead Pastor of Calvary Chapel Roseville with a heart for teaching God’s Word and helping people grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ. His passion is to faithfully proclaim the Gospel and encourage others to live out their faith through the truth of Scripture.


About Pastor Gene

Before entering ministry, Pastor Gene worked as a contractor, bringing a practical and hands-on perspective to his teaching and leadership. He desires to make God’s Word understandable and applicable to everyday life.

Pastor Gene is a devoted husband, father of three adult children, and proud grandfather. He and his family have a deep love for the church community and are passionate about seeing people grow in faith, build relationships, and discover their purpose in Christ.


Teaching & Ministry Focus

At Calvary Chapel Roseville, Pastor Gene is committed to teaching the Bible verse by verse, helping believers understand the context, meaning, and practical application of God’s Word. Through expository teaching, our goal is to faithfully study Scripture and allow God’s Word to transform our lives, strengthen our faith, and draw us closer to Jesus.

We also place a strong emphasis on evangelism and fulfilling the Great Commission. We believe every believer is called to share the hope of Jesus Christ and make disciples by reaching others with the message of the Gospel. Through teaching, outreach, and everyday life, we desire to proclaim Christ and help others experience His saving grace.
